3 Boys, Same Shirt

Here are all three of my boys in the same shirt. Aaron and Eli were 6 months old when I took their picture and Owen was 12 months.

Aaron's 8th Birthday

Aaron started his day out opening his presents first thing in the morning because he didn't have school and then he requested a fried egg for breakfast (which I thought was weird because he has never asked for one before)! After breakfast, he spent the rest of the day playing with his new Lego toys until his friend party later that night.

Aaron asked to have a Lego Ninjago birthday this year. Here he is with his cake, it was so easy to do!

Aaron about 4 friends come over for his party. We practiced their ninja skills with a couple of different games. First we had them practice show is their skills at throwing ninja stars. I made a whole bunch of oragami throwing stars and they had to try and throw them at different targets. Next we played a game that was basically red light, green light. Someone was sensi wu from Lego Ninjago, and everybody else was ninjas and they tried to be as quiet as they could to reach Sensi Wu.

Next was the piƱata. They had fun trying to slay the dragon.

Then we ended the party with cake and ice cream and Lego Ninjago bingo.

Owen's 1st Birthday

On the 1st of October Owen turned 1! He is such a good little boy! Or I guess I should say "big!" He has done lots of things sooner than the other kids did. He walked sooner, got more teeth sooner, rolled over faster, etc. He just wants to keep up with the other kids.

Owen's birthday was a small party with just us. We opened presents and of course, Owen was more interested in the wrapping paper than the toys. The other kids had fun opening his presents and playing with them.
For dessert, we had cheesecake! We put one candle on it and Owen even tried to blow the candle out.
Owen loved the cheesecake. I think it was all gone in just a few minutes. After it was gone, he picked up his plate and tried licking it and then biting it to get more cake! It was pretty funny to watch.
Here are some pictures from his birthday:

Excited for dinner!

The other night we had puff up pancakes for dinner. The kids love them! They can eat a whole 9X13 pan by themselves!

The also love to watch them while they cook the last 5 minutes. That is when the pancakes start to puff up.

Fort Time!

Aaron and Sophia were feeling a little sick the other day, so we made a fort for them to lay in while they watched some movies!

Making applesauce

Sophia and Eli thought it was great fun to help push the apples through the strainer. They were good little helpers for the first couple of batches and then they got bored of it.

This year I made plain applesauce and I also made some with pears and peaches in it! The kids thought it was wonderful!
