Eli's 1st Birthday!

My baby is 1! I can't believe how fast this year has gone by. Eli is such a great baby. We love him to pieces. Some of the things that Eli likes to do include: Eating - I can't emphasize how much this little guy likes to eat. For breakfast he can have 2 bowls of cereal and still want more! Snuggling - as I mentioned in a previous post, he loves to give you hugs and snuggle up with you for just a few minutes. Laugh - he has a great laugh and he snorts every time he laughs. It is so funny. He likes to walk. He is getting better and better at it. He still only has his 2 bottom teeth, but that doesn't stop him from trying to eat anything. He loves musical toys. He will bounce up and down when music comes on. He likes to snuggle with his blankets in bed when he is trying to fall asleep. He tries to nod his head yes sometimes. It is pretty funny when he does it. It looks like it is in slow motion. The list could go on and on about him. But here are some high lights from his little birthday party. He wasn't too sure about the candle on his cake. He also wouldn't eat his cake with his fingers. He didn't like getting his fingers dirty with the frosting, which he didn't like anyway. I mean come on, what kid doesn't like frosting. Apparently, mine doesn't. He would only eat the cake part of it if I would feed it to him with a fork. Funny guy.Of course, he didn't get opening presents thing. Me and Aaron had to help him. And once the presents where open, big brother and sister swooped right in and started playing with them and he didn't get to play with them very much - poor guy. Happy Birthday Eli! We love you!
