Christmas Catch Up!

Right before Christmas we took a trip to Brian Head Ski Resort with Chris' family and some of his cousins. Here the kids are packed in tight for the drive down.

We drove as far as Salt Lake the first night and picked up one of Chris's cousins. The car was packed even more then.

The kids were pretty good for the drive down, except for the last 40 minutes or so. Sophia was just plain cranky! I felt bad for Pat! We are used to her crying and screaming, but this was his first time listening to her crying. He was nice enough to even try and help her feel better, but nothing would make her happy until we finally got to our destination!

The kids had lot of fun playing with the other kids that were there and went sledding right by the cabin. Aaron went skiing one day, but that was enough for him because he said he went to fast and ran into a tree and some bushes! Chris went up snowboarding 1 or 2 days, but the snow wasn't very good. I had fun staying at the cabin and reading and playing games every once in awhile! :) 

We headed back home on the 22nd, just in time to get home and do some last minute shopping for Christmas! Chris's brother Kieth rode home with us because his family was coming to our house for Christmas!

It was a fun trip and the weather was great for driving! We ran into snow on the way home, but it wasn't too bad and we drove out of it in an hour or so.
