Aaron's Birthday

Aaron celebrated his 3rd birthday over the weekend. It wasn't anything too special. Just me, Chris and Aaron. He was excited for his birthday when he realized that he got presents and that there might be toys in the packages! He was also excited to blow out candles. We had to light the candles several times for him to blow out because he got so exctied about it.

For his birhtday Aaron got a super hero cape, that he loves! My mom made it for him. He always asks for it to be put on and when he is done playing in it he says that he is done "being super."
My mom also got a little piggy bank for him. I told him that he needed to earn the money to put in it. So, now whenever he does something like, eats his dinner, pick up his toys, get dressed or uses the potty he always asks for a penny! :) I just love it when you can bribe your kids to do something and they get so excited to earn something simple as a penny. He also got some dinosaurs toys and a bike from Chris and I. The bike was Chris' idea, but he is still too little to really ride it. He doesn't get the concept yet of peddling forward, but he knows how to put on the brakes!
Here are some pictures from his birthday:

The last picture so reminded me of a picture I have of you and I and the gift Jenette gave us for Christmas.

Happy Birthday to Aaron! And happy almost birthday to Bella, or whatever you end up naming your new little one! Hopefully you're not too uncomfortable these days! The progress on the house is really impressive! Looks like you guys have done a ton and how nice that you're upstairs now! The curtains look great too--way to go! Hope you have a great weekend and that everything goes as well as possible whenever your little girl arrives!

Happy b-day! It's so fun to celebrate when they are little - they still love the attention and the gift can be so simple! I can't wait to see pictures of the new babe when she gets here!
