Indoor Picnic

The other day, Sophia brought out her blanket and some of her plastic food and non-plastic food items to have a picnic in our living room.

 The non-food items she used as salt & pepper shakers or for pouring a sauce on her food.

It seems like Sophia's imagination has really taken off in the last couple of weeks. It is fun to see her come up with different games all by herself and hear her play with her dolls or animals. She has also started trying to make up songs and sing them. She loves to sing and dance. Anytime there is music on whether Chris is playing the guitar, me playing the piano, or music on our Ipad, she has to dance. She just can't help it. I was listening to song the other day that was a little bit slower and she came up to me and asked "How do you dance to this song?" I told her she could dance however she wanted to, so she put her arms and started twirling and then did a small leap - all very gracefully!
