I told Aaron and Sophia that I was going to start giving them some new chores to do on Saturdays to help me more around the house. So after dinner the other night, they happily did some new chores ( it may have helped that I gave them a quarter for doing them)! Aaron swept the floor and Sophia held the dust pan for him and then Aaron mopped the floor. Aaron also volunteered to vacuumed all the rooms! It was nice not to have to do those things myself! I need to keep reminding myself that the kids are getting older and can handle more responsibilities.
