Aaron learned how to ride his bike without training wheels!! It was his idea to take them off. He was so excited to try it. He tried for awhile to balance and use his pedals at the same time, but was getting frustrated with that.
So, I suggested to him to keep his feet off the pedals and just push himself around with his feet and then pick his feet up and try to balance that way while moving.
He tried that for close to an hour and then we went inside for lunch and when we came back out, within 10 minutes he was riding his bike! He was so proud of himself!
Also this afternoon, I made some sock bubble blowers for the kids. You cut the bottom off of a water bottle and put a sock over it and hold it in place with a rubber band. Then you dipped it in bubble water and then blow through the top! Aaron and Sophia loved it, but Eli for some reason wouldn't touch his. He just liked dumping the bubble solution out and making Aaron and Sophia mad!
Eli enjoyed his day by playing with the toy lawn mower and wandering around in the back yard where we were flooding. Of course he had to wear a bike helmet while doing everything!
And here is a few pictures of Owen. He fell asleep in his bed while sitting up and he learning how to stand up more and more! He is so proud of himself when he does. He is also starting to clap. At least that is what it looks like to me. Somebody will do something and then he will put his hands together. He will also do that when he is playing with a toy he likes.
