18 months

This cute little guy is 18 months! Nursery here we come!

Eli is still pretty much a great kid. Although he has sort of started in the "terrible two" stage. He now throws little fits when he doesn't get what he wants and he will hit you, the wall, toys, etc when he is mad. It only lasts for a few seconds though and he his pretty good about stopping when you tell him too. 

He still doesn't talk very much. He has about 3 words he can say, mom, dad and dog. He learned the word dog because our neighbor next door to us has a dog and he gets really excited whenever she barks, so he learned pretty quick to say dog. 

He is getting a bit picky about eating. Sometimes he won't touch his food unless I have give him a spoon or a fork and when he does use a spoon or a fork, most of the time it doesn't even end up in his mouth. He has learned to open our food cupboards, so he is constantly in the kitchen getting in the cupboard and playing with my cans or getting something out of the snack box. Whenever we are in the kitchen, he thinks he needs something to eat even if I am not making dinner or lunch or breakfast. 

He still takes 2 naps a day on most days and they are at least 2 hours long or longer. :)
When he isn't throwing a fit, Eli is pretty much happy as can be and loves to laugh. I feel so blessed to have Eli in our family.
